Sammy is the all star of the week. In one week he literally accomplished 3 large milestones - sitting up on his own, kneeling, and standing. It's like he was paying attention to his siblings and decided it was his time to shine. He thinks all these new skills are awesome! He often laughs at himself, screams out in sheer joy, and sports a large smile.
Danny is now cruising along the furniture with ease, occasionally free standing, and getting braver by the minute with holding on with one hand and sometimes no hands. He is fast as lightning crawling along the floor, and is trying to climb over any object in his path.
Elsie is getting stronger each day in pulling herself up, she has reached level expert. She now likes to bounce and shake (toddler dancing) once she is standing. Her balance is improving and she loves checking new things out.
My favorite thing to report is that the babies are really starting to interact with each other. Sometimes it is friendly, sometimes it is not, but they are figuring out how to handle each other which is really cool to watch. The other day Sammy started crying and Elsie crawled over to him and put her hand on his arm and then leaned in and kissed him. He kept crying and she kept kissing him over and over. It was adorable.
Some highlights of the last few weeks: we went to the farm to see the animals and get some pumpkins. We met Nichole for lunch and sat in big kid wooden restaurant high chairs and ate at the table for the first time. We went to a scary Halloween birthday party at John and Alisa's house. See pictures below.
Lots of videos this week. Trying to get good pictures are hard these days since the babies move so much. So resorting to videos seems to work a little better to capture the moment.
