yaaaa! 5 months!
We had a busy few weeks since they came home. Tons of doctors appointments with service plans being set up to carefully monitor their development to make sure they stay on target with their 'corrected' age (meaning they should only be 6 weeks old).
So far so good that all the evaluations show that are at least that advanced so very promising news. Everyone is holding their heads up nicely, following eye contact and sound, responding to touch, etc. A few concerns about tightness in the hips and shoulders, so we were given some stretching exercises. They didn't say but I'm guessing it's from laying in cribs for 5 months.
Excited that we seem to be moving into the 'smile at everything' stage, will be taking lots of pics of that.
Also pumped about our triplet stroller. I brought it to the pediatrician office and it was a cinch to use. I feel like superwoman to be able to now easily travel with the trio by myself. No stopping us now!
Doesn't it look like Sammy is telling Elsie a secret?
The dogs are so good with them, better than I could have imagined
Still have lots of help at feeding times :)
My view today :) Elsie doesn't like being bundled up
Woah oh oh oh Staying alive...Staying alive
Elsie is fascinated by what Auntie Tracey is saying
Daddy trying out the stroller
We barely fit in the elevator!
Oh, those baby smiles xoxox My love for my girls grew exponentially when they started smiling back at me. To see them happy and enjoying life gave me the peace of knowing I was doing a good job at being a mom. That thing that everyone says about just wanting their kids to be happy in life, totally true :) Your little ones are looking awesome! Keep up the good work little babies!
