Merry Christmas!

It may not be an ideal Christmas, but we'll take it!  Miguel and I spent the day at the hospital in our normal routine of care times and nursing the babies.  We dressed them in their Christmas outfits that Auntie Betty bought for them.  They looked so cute in their jeans and onesies.

Miguel and I spent the evening with my mom, Auntie Anne, Erin and Nick for a nice dinner and some Yahtzee.  All in all it was a nice Christmas.  We look forward to next Christmas when the babies are home and we can enjoy the season with our entire family.

In other news, we made the front page of the Providence Journal on Christmas Day.  Above the fold even.  Kapow.  The NICU had a holiday dinner buffet on Monday night, and when Miguel went down to get something to eat, he was approached for an interview about our experience in the NICU.  This is mostly hysterical because my husband is probably the least approachable person I know.  He oozes an I'm-not-interested-in-an-interview vibe lol.  He told me he just kept repeating the same answer in hopes it would shorten the interview.  My guess is he will never go to another free dinner in the NICU :)
