Million Dollar Babies

I thought this info deserved its own post.  We received the bills from the hospital and although I was thinking big, I didn't realize how big.

Elsie was in the hospital 133 days and her bill was

$1,247,568.11

Sammy was in the hospital 135 days, and had a surgery and his bill was 

$1,156,178.60

Danny was in the hospital for 137 days and his bill was 

$1,373,247.02

This brings our grand total at Women and Infants to 

$3,776,993.73

WOW!  Million dollar babies.

The good news is with my insurance (Blue Cross PPO)  we had to pay $150 copay for each baby.   $450 for us, $3.77 million for the insurance.
