8 months old! Boy are they growing! We had a doctor appointment Friday and Danny weighed in at 15 lbs 4 oz, Sammy at 14 lbs 8oz, and Elsie at 12 lbs 14 oz. They are getting heavy to lug around!
Elsie is doing this new thing where she cries before she goes to sleep. It started about 2 weeks ago but has definitely become a regular thing. I'm not a fan. Since she is usually last to eat, she is last to sleep, so this sort of crying usually startles her brothers and then everyone is fussy. So although she has never been a binkie enthusiast, she is now regularly coerced to take one. She is picking up the habit fast :)
Now that all babies are rolling over with ease, they are trying to perfect their sitting, crawling, and standing skills. The boys make good headway on the floor. They roll over, then push off their feet to move forward. Elsie is uninterested in crawling and only wants to stand. I sat her on the couch the other day, and she planted her feet and straightened her legs and slid her back up the couch to a standing position. Unreal. They are supposed to be acting like 4 month old babies.
Lastly, babies are sprouting tons of hair. Within the week they started filling in and forming cowlicks galore. I see them rub their hands in their hair a lot, as well as try to pull each other's hair when playing on the floor. Let the games begin! :)
This week is group, Elsie, Sammy, Danny then videos. Enjoy!

Not all photo ops are a success. As you can see. Think of this as the blooper section!

Here's where the trouble starts...
A big laugh right before my stunt
And I'm standing
All by myself
with my feet turned all out
after a long walk
laying on her brother Danny on the play mat
I love how he rubs her head
practicing my sitting in my Bumbo. Next week we start cereal on the spoon
Sammy
My stud muffin
he is very pensive when we go on walks
the sweetest smile
Danny
the sly smiler
oh the sad face
see the real tears...upset because he can't get the right side of the binkie back in his mouth, keeps putting it in backwards.
love the camo
look at the hair!
Sammy laughing it up
Danny going crazy with raspberries
Sammy working on hand control on the play mat. He played with this elephant for over an hour...
