Danny is home!

Yaaaa! Danny is home! Miguel and I are over the moon to have ALL of our babies home! It was awful leaving him there on Monday and I missed him so much at home that it made his homecoming even more exciting.

Yesterday, Grammie and Vavoa spent the day at the hospital giving him extra cuddles and spoiling him.  We are so lucky to have a great family that does so much for us.

Danny did have a spell on Monday night,  which set him back to day 0 and a Sunday discharge. I was heartbroken.  So I asked the doctor if they would send him home on a monitor and they said yes! I was so relieved!

Elsie is also on a monitor that we were warned would go off all the time, and it has gone off only once on her first night home, for a real event. We use it in the car, and when she is sleeping in her crib. Otherwise, we just have her in sight. It gives us peace of mind when we are not staring at her.  Having two babies on monitors gives us double peace of mind.

Saying goodbye to our nurses today was bittersweet.  As excited as we are to leave the hospital, we are sad to leave our nurses.  We are fully aware that without them our babies would not be where they are today. Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it.

Here are some pics from the day:

  2. Such great news to have all three of your little ones home! I'm so excited for you guys! I would love to call and catch up, but I don't want to interrupt your day--I'm sure you have your hands full with three babies and no nursing staff. Congratulations again to you all! xoxoxo
