Daddy's birthday!

Miguel turned 40 today! We celebrated when he got home from work.  And by celebrated I mean Elsie vomited all over herself and Danny screamed bloody murder as Miguel tried to comfort him for 2 hours until he passed out. Happy Birthday!

We've had a busy first week,  but we are getting organized. We were pretty prepared by our freaking fantastic nurses at Women and Infants, so the transition was fairly smooth.  The hardest part is Miguel is back to work and with all the meds that means I have to be present and focused for every feeding. Challenging with a lack of sleep, but I feel I've been sleeping more than I was expecting.  So yaaaa!

I'm excited to be putting the trips together more on the floor or in bouncy chairs so they can interact with each other.  I put Danny and Elsie on the boppies facing each other and Danny worked so hard to get closer to her.  Here's the videos :)

We had a photo shoot the other day that was awesome!  I highly recommend Betsy Hynes Photography in Braintree. She was so patient and very creative to get 3 babies to participate.  So go like her page on Facebook.

A sweetheart of a week

Have I mentioned how awesome it is to have three babies home?  Well it's awesome.

We've had a busy 3 days adjusting and creating a workable system but we are getting there.  I've done a few feeds all by myself,  and all the babies made it through ok.  AND none of my neighbors called the cops with a noise complaint.  So I got that going for me :)

Our moms have been great - cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and dishes,  as well as feeding and holding babies.  We are also accepting help to hold, feed, and burp babies from any not sick, warm bodies. Apply within.

We had our first pediatrician appointment yesterday with all 3 babies. That was a task. I felt like Elizabeth Shue in The Adventures in Babysitting lol. Everything is looking good. Weights are good. Our only issue is some constipation due to the rice cereal they need for their reflux. If that's the worst, then awesome. I'm not shy to shove some glycerin where the sun don't shine :)

Since I am sacrificing sleep to write this blog post, I will wrap it up. Here are some pics. FYI anytime I take a group shot, I put them in order A, B, C. Sammy, Danny, and Elsie.
