All things Disney

This winter and spring have been long and drawn out, so we were happy to see sun when we headed south for our annual Florida trip in April.  This year the kids were the perfect age to make it a full fledged Disney extravaganza.  We've dropped afternoon naps (for the most part), and no strollers were needed (although we did have a few whiny afternoons about tired feet). We were lucky to score a $59 each way deal from Southwest so we flew this year.  Our kids are great travelers, so flying was a cinch, but I did miss having all of the luxuries of the motorhome with us.  There are pros and cons to each (like not driving 22 hours with three five year olds).

We did a 10 day Disney pass so we didn't have to be at the parks all day and night.  I couldn't believe the difference between a 4 day pass and a 10 day pass for all 6 of us was just over $140.  Why would we do it any other way for that price.  We were able to do 1/2 days at the park and spend the rest of the day at the pool.  Everyone was happy and refreshed, and we got to utilize our fast passes to skip just about every line in all 4 parks.  Win win all around.  It's all the kids have talked about for a month since we've been back.

She was excited to lead the parade.  But when we got to the stage she abandoned ship. She said it was too scary to fight Darth Vader.
