7 months!

7 months!

Babies are in a fun stage.  Lots of smiles, giggles,  cooing,  reaching,  grabbing, and discovering. With their reflux slowly diminishing, it allows us to spend more time on the floor playing with the babies love to do. All the babies are getting close to rolling over.
Elsie managed to flip herself over in the swing.

We had our first bout with sickness this week. Elsie got a small fever on Saturday and was just not herself. She's got a little virus but is already back on the mend already. She LOVES being held 24/7 and is already showing her displeasure when I put her down today.

Sammy spent the majority of last week determining how to get his thumb in his mouth. He had previously been discovering his hand and how to try to wedge his entire first in his mouth.  Once he decided he only wanted his thumb, he took a few days trying to figure out how to free his thumb from his hand.  Finally he realized he had to open all his fingers and then a day or two to get the coordination down and wahla we have a thumb sucker. I tried for the whole week to keep replacing the thumb with a binkie to no avail.  He literally launches the binkie out and shoves the thumb in.

Today's pics are Sammy, Elsie, Danny then videos.  No  group pics because we are keeping Elsie separate to contain the sickness :)

I set her on the couch and Hannah jumped up on the couch and laid in front of her.
Don't fall off Elsie!!

Mom slept on the couch so I could be close to her!
She snuggled me all night
I think I want to lay swing my belly
I just have to get my feet on one side and flip!
Did it!

I feel bad posting this for future embarrassment, however, it is rather amusing that Elsie has figured out how to make herself poop.  She usually does it right after she eats as in this case, when she's full.  She stiffens up her whole body and grunts loudly.  She does this 5 or 6 times and then smiles and goes to sleep.

I picked up my rattle and then didn't know what to do with it!  It didn't fit in my mouth so I got bored quick

Happy Easter!

Hippity Hoppity Happy Easter!

We celebrated Easter here at our house with our families!  24 of us!  Kids had a great time doing the Easter egg hunt and playing outside.  My babies loved being held all day.  We did a panini party instead of a traditional dinner and it was a big hit!

Babies are 29 weeks old, or 3 months corrected. This week they did a lot of grabbing and reaching. They are making a ton of noise cooing, and lots of hands and feet action.
We are also trying to roll over.  They manage to get up on their side, but rolling over their arm is tough.  Not sure what they weigh because the visiting nurse no longer comes, but we are outgrowing our 0-3 clothes, so that is exciting.  And it is really awesome when you walk in the room that they follow me and light up when I look at them :)

Cousins Lana and Joey went to Disney last week and brought us cool hats...we can't wait till they fit!

Today's pics are Sammy, Elsie, Danny, then group and videos.

These next few are hysterical. I put all 3 on the couch, turned to grab my phone and both boys fell over. Totally looks like Elsie pushed them.  Love her face :)
